St. Philip the Apostle School is a forward-thinking, double graded, TK-8, Catholic parish elementary school in Pasadena, CA. We are seeking a dynamic educator for our second grade. Working with the other second grade teacher, the teacher is responsible for instruction of our standards based curriculum in addition to all homeroom responsibilities and preparations for the Sacrament of Reconciliation and 1st Communion. In order to ensure a seamless curriculum in all grades, it is essential that this person be a team player who works well with their partner second grade teacher. Qualified candidates will have a valid and current multiple subject teaching credential as well as experience as a homeroom teacher in the primary grade level.
Requirements
BA/BS, multiple subject teaching credential, experience as a homeroom teacher in the primary grade level. Must be a practicing Catholic.

Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range.
