Direct Hire Position

Summary: 

As the Director of Account Management, you will play a critical role in leading and overseeing the account management function to drive customer satisfaction, retention, and revenue growth. You will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to strengthen relationships with existing clients, identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities, and ensure the delivery of exceptional service. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of account management principles, and a passion for exceeding client expectations. 

Requirements

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market share with national accounts. 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at national accounts, including executives, decision-makers, and influencers. 
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, product, and operations teams to develop tailored solutions and offerings to meet the needs of national accounts. 
  • Conduct regular business reviews with clients to review performance, identify areas for improvement, and gather feedback 
  • Lead negotiations of contracts, pricing, and terms with national accounts to ensure mutual benefit and long-term partnerships. 
  • Monitor market trends, competitive activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth and improvement. 
  • Track and analyze sales metrics, customer data, and market trends to optimize performance and drive informed decision-making. 
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements in all national account activities. 
  • Continuously evaluate and improve processes, tools, and resources to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in managing national accounts. 
  • Be the main point of contact for their assigned accounts while following proper escalation paths.

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, sales, or related field. 
  • Proven track record of success in national account management, with a minimum of 4-5 years of experience in a similar role. 
  • Strong understanding of sales principles, techniques, and methodologies, with demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth and exceed targets. 
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build rapport with diverse stakeholders/customers. 
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights and solutions. 
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve excellence. 
  • Highly organized with excellent time management and project management skills. 
  • Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office suite, and other relevant business tools. 
  • Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings, conferences, and other business-related activities. 
  • Demonstrated commitment to integrity, ethics, and professionalism in all interactions and decisions.
