The Riviera Club in Indianapolis is looking to hire part-time nationally-certified Personal Trainer. Each Independent Contractor is compensated 70% per session. This is a great opportunity for experienced trainers to apply their trade and make a difference in our family-friendly community.
Job Responsibilities:
·Take member through an assessment prior to working with them
·Design a program that fits the client(s)
·Provide proper instructions and demonstrations of all exercises in your proscribed program
·Ensure the safety of all training sessions
·Be courteous to all clients and members. Maintain open communication about availability and scheduling session
·Show professionalism at each session. Be on time and ready for your client.
·Maintain professional appearance and proper fitness attire
·Be sure each session gets scheduled on your calendar and ‘checked in’ after each session
·Willingness to teach group classes is a plus
Qualifications:
·Current certification from ACSM, NASM or NSCA or a 4- year degree in an exercise field (kinesiology, exercise science, etc)
·Specialty certifications (TRX, Cycling etc.) a plus
·CPR/AED certification required
·At least six months’ experience training
·Independent Contractor Insurance
