Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Culinary professional to join our team. As a Culinary, you will play a vital role in preparing and presenting delicious meals for our members. This is an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary skills and contribute to creating memorable dining experiences.
Duties:
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes following established recipes and techniques
- Ensure all food is prepared and presented in accordance with food safety standards
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to plan and execute menus for daily service
- Assist with meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of food items
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate any shortages or discrepancies to the supervisor
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations while handling food and kitchen equipment
- Assist with catering events as needed, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality food
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a culinary or food service role is preferred
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques and familiarity with different types of cuisines
- Strong knife skills and ability to handle kitchen equipment safely
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
- Basic understanding of food safety principles and proper sanitation practices
