The Right Door is seeking a Youth Peer Support Specialist to work up to 28 hours per week. This individual must be between 18 and 28 years old and in recovery from their diagnosed mental illness. The Youth Peer Support Specialist will develop an enhanced system of support for persons with severe and persistent mental illness. This individual will promote recovery, hope, personal responsibility, empowerment, education, community inclusion and participation.
Person must meet criteria to secure Certification, including, but not limited to the following: § have a serious mental illness; § have received public mental health services currently or in the past; and meet the MDHHS application approval process for specialized training and certification requirements. Salary range $19.52 - $22.45 per hour based on experience.
