Overview: As a Provider Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of medical spa services. Our Provider Assistant should possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing a positive and professional experience for our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Patient Care Assistance: Assist providers in delivering services, ensuring a comfortable and efficient experience for clients.
• Preparation and Setup: Prepare treatment rooms, equipment, and supplies for procedures, maintaining cleanliness and adherence to hygiene protocols.
• Client Preparation. Assist in preparing the client/patient for their service by getting them set up with whatever is needed prior to being treated for their respective service.
• Vital Signs Monitoring: Perform basic medical procedures such as measuring vital signs, documenting patient information accurately, and assisting with pre- and post-treatment assessments.
• Sterilization and Infection Control: Adhere to strict sterilization and infection control procedures, maintaining a clean and safe environment for both staff and clients.
• Assist in Aesthetic Procedures: Provide assistance during aesthetic procedures, ensuring the proper handling of equipment and materials while maintaining a high level of patient comfort.
• Documentation: Record and maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and any relevant information.
• Compliance: Adhere to all relevant regulations, standards, and guidelines to ensure compliance with medical spa protocols.
• Medical Supply Inventory Management: Oversee inventory management, ordering supplies as needed to meet operational demands. This includes any task associated with medications needed for patients as well as verifying any inventory deliveries for accuracy.
• Product Knowledge and Support: Stay informed about medical spa products and treatments to effectively communicate with clients and assist in product sales.
• Coordination with Providers: Collaborate with licensed aestheticians and other medical professionals to ensure coordinated and seamless delivery of medical spa services.
• Emergency Response: Be prepared to assist in emergency situations, following established protocols and providing support to healthcare providers.

Other Tasks as Needed:

• Assist the Front Office Staff
• General office cleaning, including restrooms
• Provide technical support on office equipment
• Update, verify, organize and count inventory of retail items
• Other miscellaneous tasks as requested by management

Qualifications:

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification preferred.
• Previous experience in a medical spa, dermatology, or aesthetic medicine setting is preferred.
• Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
• Proficient in basic medical procedures and the use of medical equipment.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic team environment.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and schedules.
