Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Human Resources Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will support various HR functions and contribute to the overall success of the HR department.
Responsibilities:
-Assist in the day to day operations of the HR department (including payroll)
-Provide operations support on HR questions or issues.
-Assist with talent acquisition processes, including job postings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
- Support talent management initiatives such as onboarding, training, and development programs.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and maintain accurate employee records.
- Assist in workforce management activities, including scheduling and attendance tracking.
- Contribute to training development and delivery for employees on HR-related topics.
- Utilize HRIS systems for data entry and reporting.
- Handle employee relations matters professionally and confidentially.
- Support change management initiatives within the organization.
- Assist in employee evaluation processes.
-Monitors employee eligibility for benefits plans. Reviews benefits with employee and processes enrollment, cancellation or changes.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years proven experience in HR or related administrative roles.
- Familiarity with HRIS systems and software.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
-Payroll processing experience
- Knowledge of employee evaluation processes and performance management.
