Position Responsibilities:

• Medical Chart Filing and answering multi-line telephones.
• Welcoming and screening visitors.
• Typing letters, memos and reports.
• Maintaining a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality to protect our client’s rights. This includes professional interaction with clients, families and staff.
• Demonstrates a proficient understanding and compliance with HIPAA.
• Managing multiple tasks in a timely manner.

Education, Competencies and Credentials:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong computer skills with MS Office products including tables in Word, Excel Spreadsheet and all areas of Outlook.
• Medical facility or Unit Clerk experience preferred.
• Electronic Medical Records experience very helpful.
• Data Base familiarity helpful.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills required.
• Advanced customer service/support skills required.
• Ability to multi task and works well in a team environment.

Hours:

• Every other weekend - Saturday and Sunday 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
• Flexible if available to help for vacation coverage for weekend shifts.
