The Rapids at Campfire is Hiring a Wedding/Event Coordinator Near Grand Rapids, OH

We are seeking a dynamic and creative Event Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, promoting, and executing a wide range of events at The Rapids at Campfire. This role requires excellent organizational skills, a passion for event planning, and the ability to bring innovative ideas to life. The Event Coordinator will work closely with clients, vendors, and the venue owner to ensure all events are successful and memorable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Event Planning and Coordination:
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their event needs and preferences.
  • Develop detailed event plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Coordinate all event logistics, including venue setup, catering, entertainment, and transportation.
  • Ensure all events are executed smoothly and efficiently, addressing any issues that arise promptly.
  • Marketing and Promotion:
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote The Rapids at Campfire as a top event destination.
  • Create and manage content for social media, email campaigns, and the company website.
  • Network with local businesses and community organizations to build relationships and drive event bookings.
  • Track and analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, adjusting strategies as needed.
  • Client Relations:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the planning process.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Conduct site tours and consultations with prospective clients.
  • Manage client contracts, payments, and follow-up communications.
  • Creative Development:
  • Bring innovative and creative ideas to enhance the overall event experience.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new concepts into event offerings.
  • Collaborate with the venue owner to develop new event packages and promotional initiatives.
  • Vendor Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, including caterers, florists, photographers, and entertainment providers.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing with vendors to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Coordinate vendor logistics and ensure timely delivery of services.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • 4 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Evening shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Morning shift
  • Nights as needed

Experience:

  • Events management: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
