The Rapid is hiring a Photography/Film Summer Intern!

Where public transportation goes, community grows.The Rapid is an award-winning transportation organization headquartered in Grand Rapids, MI. We serve the following communities: Grand Rapids, East Grand Rapids, Grandville, Kentwood, Walker, and Wyoming.
Are you an undergraduate student with a keen eye for capturing moment on camera? The Rapid is seeking a creative individual to join our team as a Photography/Film intern for the summer. In this internship you will work on a variety of projects that include photography, film, social media, and digital story telling. As an intern with The Rapid, you will have the chance to contribute to meaningful projects, develop essential skills, and gain hands-on experience in the public transportation industry.

Duration: Summer 2024 Compensation: $17.00 per hour

Position Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in an accredited 2 or 4-year university program.
• Demonstrated capability in executing photography or film assignments with proficiency.
• Experience in editing photos and videos, showcasing your ability to enhance visual narratives.
• Must be familiar with social media platforms, such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and self-motivation to excel in a fast-paced environment.
