Position Title: Contract Nutritionist
FTE: Part Time
Location: DTC Outpatient Programs
Schedule: Approximately 10 hours per week with flexible scheduling possible
We’re growing and we want to talk to you! The Raleigh House, a nationally recognized substance abuse and mental health treatment provider, is seeking to contract a Nutritionist with functional knowledge of how nutrition and dietary supplementation impacts mental health and substance use disorders. Contracted for approximately 10 hours per week, the Nutritionist will primarily be located at our DTC Outpatient programs location. Working alongside our clinical, medical, and psychiatric professionals, the Nutritionist will be key in implementing the Pro Recovery dietary and supplement education.
Responsibilities:
1. Conducting initial assessments of clients' dietary habits, health goals, and medical history
2. Developing personalized nutrition plans based on clients' needs and preferences.
3. Facilitate a minimum of two weekly Nutrition Education Groups per week.
5. Providing ongoing support and guidance to clients, including regular check-ins and plan adjustments.
6. Monitoring clients' progress towards their health goals and making recommendations for improvements.
7. Maintaining accurate records of client consultations and progress notes.
