The Quogue Club at Hallock House provides an exceptional dining experience exclusively reserved for our members and hotel guests.

We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our team in providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

- Greet members and guests as they arrive and thank them as they leave

- Manage reservations and seating arrangements

- Escort members and guests to their tables and provide menus

- Answer phone calls and inquiries with professionalism

- Assist in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment

- Take Member Take-Out Orders over the phone/email and input them into POS system

- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations

Skills:

- Excellent communication skills

- Experience in hotel or restaurant settings preferred

- Strong customer service skills

- Knowledge of POS systems is a plus

- Ability to handle guest relations effectively

- Familiarity with food service operations

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
