The Prospective Group (TPG) is Hiring a Quality Assurance Lead Near Alexandria, VA
- Assess the quality of the software throughout the development process and ensure it meets the customer’s requirements.
- Develop independent test plans and test cases that will validate the development team’s work.
- Provide regular reports to the Government on the progress of IV&V activities and any issues that arise.
- Specific metrics based on industry benchmarking standards for project performance evaluation will be reviewed by the Government for each IV&V engagement so that performance expectations drive the effectiveness of each IV&V engagement.
- Review and make recommendations on both the management and technical aspects of IT projects.
- At least seven (7) years of experience testing reporting environment and its output.
- Excellent interpersonal skills necessary to interact effectively with fellow testers, developers, and QA management.
- Proven experience and full command of QA procedures and methods, and Agile / SDLC
- An understanding of automated testing, including how to write scripts to automate testing and create tools so developers can test their own code.
- Able and willing to work in a team environment and adopt a culture of ownership and initiative and promote such within the team.
- Able and willing to work independently and in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, with minimal supervision.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, as well as excellent communication skills, verbal and written to both technical and non-technical audiences that are in a geographically dispersed environment (conference calls, Skype, face-to-face).
