(Remote -1099 Position)

The Proposal Lab is seeking a very sharp Proposal Writer to develop compliant responses for Federal government RFPs. While this position is 100% remote, there are high expectations for any candidate who fills this role. You must have reliable systems, Internet, and be available to work core hours during the week. The position may require working nights/weekends. Some face-to-face meetings will be required.
This is an on-call, 1099 position.
Qualifications: ‍

• Must be an excellent writer. Writing samples will be requested
• Minimum four (4) years of experience writing persuasive content for Federal and state government proposals
• Excellent at facilitating meetings and proposal teams
• Experience developing compliance matrices and compliant outlines
• Excellent communication skills & solid understanding of message development
• Experience interviewing SMEs for content
• Excellent time management skills to meet tight deadlines
• Uses creativity and strategy to create compelling content
• Requires minimal supervision
• Must be professional with a customer-service focus
• Proposal management experience a PLUS
