The Progress Place is Hiring a Mental Health Executive Assistant Near Norcross, GA

Job Overview:
We seek a highly organized and detail-oriented Executive Assistant to support our executive team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills and the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively. The Executive Assistant will provide comprehensive support to the CEO, enabling them to focus on strategic leadership and decision-making. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, confidentiality, and navigating a fast-paced, evolving environment. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in administrative roles, preferably within the healthcare or mental health field, demonstrating a deep commitment to enhancing mental health awareness and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain the CEO’s calendar, including scheduling appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements.
  • Act as a point of contact between the CEO and internal/external stakeholders, ensuring efficient communication and information dissemination.
  • Prepare and edit correspondence, communications, presentations, and other documents on behalf of the CEO.
  • Organize and coordinate executive outreach and external relations efforts, enhancing the company’s mission and goals.
  • Handle confidential information with discretion and integrity, aligning with company policies and ethical guidelines.
  • Assist in the preparation of board meetings, including material preparation, minute-taking, and follow-up actions.
  • Support project management activities, ensuring deadlines are met and projects align with strategic objectives.
  • Facilitate the smooth operation of the executive office, identifying opportunities for process improvement.
  • Participate in special projects as required, contributing to team efforts beyond traditional administrative tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Communications, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as an Executive Assistant, preferably within the healthcare or mental health sector.
  • Strong organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills with impeccable multi-tasking abilities.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders, including staff, board members, and external partners.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with virtual meeting tools (Zoom, Teams, etc.).
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of the mental health industry and a passion for mental health advocacy is highly desirable.

Preferred Skills:
- Experience with phone systems and phone etiquette
- Knowledge of office management procedures
- Familiarity with Outlook Calendar or similar scheduling software
- Proofreading skills for reviewing documents
