Description :
The Probst Group has an exciting opportunity within our Operations Team. We are currently seeking a Wastewater Operator to assist in supporting our customers and organization in the operation of our industrial wastewater treatment system located in Richland Center, WI.
This role will involve close collaboration with clients, federal and state regulatory agencies, and various departments within Probst.
Although officially established in 2008, the Probst Group has been providing true, customized solutions to meet the unique needs of our clients for over 30 years.
We take pride in our extensive experience in industrial wastewater engineering and operations.
As a Wastewater Operator, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day operations and preventative maintenance of the facility.
In addition to job related tasks as assigned by management, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following :
Wastewater Operation Focus :
Participate in the on-call rotation to monitor alarms during off hours.
Control and monitor the industrial treatment process.
Make process control and chemical dosing adjustments and record all data.
Collect analytical samples to perform laboratory tests and analyses in support of facility operations.
Diagnose operating problems and perform necessary corrective actions.
Ensure that all equipment is properly operated, maintained and / or repaired and returned to service in a timely manner.
Prepare required reports and maintain records.
Operate vehicles and equipment such as service trucks, forklifts, etc.
Handle chemicals in accordance with SOP's and SDS.
Mechanical Focus :
Maintain a list of regular preventive maintenance tasks and complete as needed or assigned.
Read gauges and meters and record data to look for trends.
Calibrate and maintain analytical equipment and instruments.
Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment within the scope of operations contracts.
Report any outstanding maintenance tasks and provide status updates to facility management.
Maintain equipment such as pumps, motors, valves, and flow meters.
Perform other duties as assigned.
