Job Summary :

The Preserve at Meridian is seeking friendly and dedicated individuals to join our team as Dining Assistants (DGA).

This individual contributor role will be responsible for providing support and assistance in the dining department at our healthcare / medical facility in Meridian, Mississippi.

This is a full-time or part-time position with an hourly rate of $11.5 to $12.5, paid biweekly.

Responsibilities :

• Assist with setting up and clearing dining areas for meal service
• Help serve meals to residents / patients according to their dietary needs and preferences
• Monitor dining room to ensure food safety and sanitation standards are maintained
• Assist with dishwashing and other kitchen tasks as needed
• Interact with residents / patients in a friendly and courteous manner
• Respond to resident / patient requests and concerns regarding meals
• Maintain accurate documentation of resident / patient meal preferences and restrictions
• Attend and actively participate in all required departmental meetings and trainings
• Adhere to all healthcare / medical facility policies and procedures
• Promote a positive and professional working environment

Requirements :

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
• Must have excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
• Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
• Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
• Must pass a background check and drug screen
