Pool and Spa Depot is adding to our Construction Teams. We are hiring Construction Laborers (Swimming Pool Builders) to work from our Cookeville, Tennessee location!

Laborers/Builders will be part of a team that will be responsible for building both in-ground and above ground pools at customer homes. Builders will load and unload materials, lay out pool walls, install pump and filter systems as well as pool liners. Applicants need to be able to perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, bending over, and handling of materials. Laborers/Builders must be able to work outside!

Job Duties include; but are not limited to the following:

• Clean and prepare construction sites and maintain them through completion.
• Confers with customers to ensure that pool location and dimensions meet customer demands
• Marks pool site and prepare ground by grading the site with backhoe
• Assemble and install pool bottom rails, walls, pool liner, top rails and pump/filtration system.
• Acquire information and tools needed to perform each job assigned before beginning
• Load, unload and distribute building materials
• Perform preventative and regular maintenance on tools and equipment

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 1-3 years construction experience or equivalent
• Valid Driver’s License is preferred, but not a requirement.
• Clean driving record
• Ability to work overtime, especially during the summer months.
• Experience operating a bobcat, skid steer or excavator is helpful.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds
• Exposure to outdoor weather
