A well-established corporation in the Hayward, CA area is looking to hire several Receiving Technicians. This is a Temp to Hire position.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned :

Employee is responsible to make sure supplied parts within the purchase order / packing slip are received. Must be able to work with outside delivery vendors, understand basic shipping documentation, and work well with other members of the Logistics team in receiving and identifying packages and parts received from customers.

Understand and follow operating procedures as assigned to the team to assure consistent, reliable, and timely processing of parts within this team.

Good basic computer skills required to work with MIS system and peripheral hardware such as scanners, printers, and the like.

Ability to perform under pressure, and the ability to bring to management in a clear, concise, and professional manner all potential conflicts in the performance of their duties.

Has an appreciation for timeliness, quality, and punctuality. This includes following all rules and regulations, including safety, attendance, breaks, time off, and etc.

EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE :

Must have a High School Diploma or general education degree (GED), and the following levels of related experience and / or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required :

Tech I : 0 - 6 months

Tech II : 6 months 1 year

Tech III or Lead : 2 7 years

Hourly Wage $21.00 - $23.00

Medical Benefits after 60 days employment.

Sick time after 90 days of employment.
