The Platt Brothers & Co. is Hiring an Utility Worker Near Waterbury, CT
The Platt Brothers & Company, a family owned business since 1797 is a major source for zinc, zinc alloy and other non-ferrous products along with intricate custom eyelet and deep drawn stamping capabilities.
We are currently seeking a Utility Worker for each of our 2nd and 3rd shifts to perform various routine, repetitive duties such as:
- Feeding or offloading machines
- Load furnaces
- Move goods and material from one place to another
- Clean machines, tools and work area
- Assist in performing yard and building maintenance as needed
Candidates must have the ability to:
- lift 50lbs
- Understand written and/or oral instructions
- Detect faulty operation and materials
- Observe and follow safety rules and regulations
Hourly Rate is based on experience, and we offer a 2nd & 3rd shift differential
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.08 - $19.85 per hour
