The Pivotal Companies is Hiring a Leasing Manager Near Reno, NV

Summary:

The Leasing Manager will be responsible for driving the property’s leasing and marketing efforts. As an onsite leader, this invaluable role collaborates with the property manager to ensure creative targeted campaigns and events are executed and align with the property brand. Through a collaborative effort, you will work with the onsite team to achieve established revenue, occupancy, resident retention, and leasing goals.

  • Self-starter who can take on responsibilities and initiate ideas
  • A creative mind to come up with unique marketing ideas.
  • Flexible and capable of prioritizing tasks when working in a busy and changing environment

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the development and execution of annual marketing plans within budget
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Utilize the established sales and marketing strategies to increase property traffic, maintain closing ratios, and achieve the budgeted occupancy
  • Stay current and knowledgeable with leasing and marketing trends
  • Supervise the planning, preparation, and implementation of lease up events, renewal parties, property events, competitions, and Resident Programs
  • Utilize knowledge of trending marketing techniques to impact sales and leasing efforts, specifically related to college students.
  • Give informative property tours to potential prospects onsite and create value add by anticipating needs and addressing concerns the customer hasn’t even thought of yet
  • Lease and renew beds/apartments via in person, on the phone, or online
  • Lead and develop full time and part-time leasing staff; Assist in the recruiting and interviewing process
  • Maintain accurate and current prospect traffic and leasing data
  • Audit lease files as needed to ensure adherence to all policies and procedures
  • Assist with all move-out and move-in events as well as collect deposits and/or fees associated with move-in (as necessary)
  • Contribute to the general upkeep and cleaning of the office, common areas, and the model(s)
  • Perform various administrative tasks as needed or as directed by the Property Manager and any additional responsibilities as required.

Education/Experience and Technical Requirements:

  • Ideal candidates will have 2 years of leasing off-campus student housing apartments
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required; college degree or proven success in a Leasing Manager position preferred
  • Sales and/or management experience in multi-family housing, hospitality, or retail industries preferred
  • A passion for helping college students find their next home
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Technically savvy individual that can navigate through various social media platforms and a familiarity with Microsoft Office

Physical Requirements:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

  • The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
  • The person in this position will need to be able to travel around town, market on campus, and stand for long periods of time.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery (i.e., a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer)
  • The person in this position frequently communicates with students who have inquiries about their rent or leasing agreement. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
