Pinnacle Staffing Group is an employee administration company providing customized recruiting, staffing and HR solutions to assist growing businesses. Pinnacle has partnered with a locally owned cabinetry shop that specializes in high-quality, customer furniture and millwork. Our client is expanding their design team and looking for an enthusiastic AutoCAD drafter to take project specs and build them out in design software.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with architects, engineers, and general contractors to help translate their ideas and sketches into detailed plans that will be used in the wood shop (OR millwright) production.
• Use AutoCAD and other technical programs to prepare these drawings for production approval.
• Take existing plans & drawings and update with necessary details to meet industry standards and production allowances.
• Review and provide QC procedures to ensure that the finished design meets production standards and details for the woodworking staff.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience (work setting or technical school program) needed in drafting and/or technical design.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD is required. Exposure to AutoCAD light and Cabinet Vision would be a major plus.
• Ability to analyze design sketches and specs to create technical drawings.
• Strong time management skills and attention to detail.
• Over-the-top communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $48,000.00 per year
