Role Overview :

The Construction Project Estimator is a key player in our construction operations, working under the direction of the Director of Construction Operations and the Presidents of Construction. This role involves active participation in construction processes, pricing, and estimating, ensuring alignment with client budgets and expectations. The Estimator is also responsible for maintaining robust subcontractor relationships, facilitating internal processes, and coordinating with Project Managers, Architects, and Interior Designers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cost Estimation and Analysis : Develop accurate and detailed cost estimates for luxury custom home construction and remodeling projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs based on contract documents, blueprints, and specifications.
• Project Scope Definition : Collaborate with architects, engineers, clients, and construction teams to understand and define project scope and requirements.
• Project Coordination : Collaborate with project managers, designers, and subcontractors to ensure cost estimates align with the project's design and execution plans.
• Market Analysis : Keep abreast of the market trends and changes in costs of construction materials and labor to forecast future project expenses and adjust bids accordingly.
• Innovation : Leverage technology and innovative methods to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of estimates
• Quality Assurance : Ensure that all aspects of the estimation process meet high standards of quality, reflecting the luxury status of the homes and remodels your company specializes in.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated knowledge of custom home construction and a comprehensive understanding of construction processes.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and a general tech-savviness. Candidate must be comfortable learning and using various software and applications pertinent to design-build operations.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with numerical data, as the job will involve significant data analysis and interpretation.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the capability to multitask and manage time effectively under stringent deadlines.
• Superior communication abilities with proficiency in MS Office applications and digital communication tools.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, with a track record of professional interactions.
• Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and the willingness to travel as needed for project requirements.
