Role Overview:

The Construction Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the construction operations team. This individual oversees crucial documentation and process while fostering relationships with subcontractors and streamlining internal procedures. As a liaison for Project Managers and Architecture and Design team, the Construction Coordinator ensures the seamless integration of operations both in the office and on site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Construction Team Support : Provide direct administrative and logistical support to Project Managers and Superintendents.
  • Documentation Management : Oversee and maintain all project-related documentation, including site photos, insurance policies, contractual agreements, and comprehensive financial records, ensuring accuracy and availability for stakeholders.
  • Project Permitting : Lead the project permitting process, coordinating with local government agencies to ensure all necessary permits are obtained in a timely manner.
  • Contract Creation and Management : Assist in the creation and management of construction contracts, ensuring they are accurately drafted and fully executed.
  • Subcontractor Coordination : Track and manage subcontractor insurance and licensing, ensuring all subcontractors are compliant with company and legal requirements.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Candidate must be generally tech-savvy and comfortable learning and using various software and applications pertinent to design-build operations.
  • Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and the willingness to travel around the county as needed for project requirements.
  • Superior communication abilities with proficiency in MS Office applications and digital communication tools.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, with a track record of professional client and subcontractor interactions.
