Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Artisan to join our team part-time with potential for full-time. The ideal candidate will have expertise in bread and pastry production.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, shape and bake sourdough bread, mix, prepare and bake various pastry items
- Handle food products with care and maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation
- Utilize culinary tools such as knives, large mixers, steam injected ovens, and kitchen equipment effectively
- Work solo and collaboratively with the kitchen team to meet production goals
Requirements:
- Proven experience working in a culinary environment, preferably in a restaurant or production bakery setting
- Strong knowledge of food handling, preparation, and production techniques
- Proficiency in pastry making is highly desirable
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced high volume kitchen environment
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented approach
- Culinary or relevant certification is a plus
- Must be able to lift 50lbs
