The Pictsweet Company is growing! We are currently seeking a Civil Engineer to join our corporate engineering team in Bells, TN. This position will provide civil, structural and environmental engineering expertise in carrying out the engineering department charge as directed by the Director of Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Managing capital and special projects. Such projects include but are not limited to facility improvements, new construction, drainage, grading, paving, plant utilities, structural design & analysis, seismic design & analysis, site planning, hydraulic engineering, environmental engineering and surveying. Knowledge of codes and good engineering practices as it relates to building construction is required.
• Sanitary design of building components will be required.
• Assisting with capital and special projects. Such projects include but are not limited to design, installation, and modification of processing and packaging lines; modifications of ammonia refrigeration systems; and design and installation of material handling systems.
• Manage environmental compliance efforts of the company. These efforts are primarily in the areas of wastewater management and OSHA PSM / EPA RMP for ammonia refrigeration systems.
• Perform other duties as directed by the Director of Engineering

Qualifications

• B.S.C.E. or equivalent from an ABET accredited program.
• At least 2 - 3 years of experience.
• Candidates possessing a professional license or working towards licensure are preferred.
