About the Position: The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the physical aspects of the property meet the company’s established standards and any applicable laws. They will diagnose problems and make repairs in areas such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, dry walling, exterior structural, and appliance. Associates may be certified in one or all of the skilled trades in which they are responsible.

Maintenance Technicians, as with all members of Picerne Residential, are expected to conduct himself/herself in a manner, which demonstrates initiative, professionalism, personal awareness, integrity, and exercises confidentiality in the appropriate areas of his/her performance.

Key Position Responsibilities:

• Respond to resident requests for maintenance and service by taking appropriate action utilizing superior skill and knowledge for HVAC, heating and plumbing systems, and provide any system repair within the quality and time standards established by the organization
• Complete service request information using assigned software while on the service call
• Will back up Porters as needed or directed to ensure that apartments are ready for occupancy
• Maintain tools, equipment, and workspace and ensure they are organized and in proper working order, request replacements as necessary, and assist in stocking the inventory
• Participate in the awareness of the overall appearance and cleanliness of the communities. All deficiencies and or risk management safety issues are reported immediately
• Provide superior customer service to residents and prospects

What You Bring:

• 3-5 years experience in general maintenance work, specifically in plumbing, electrical, and HVAC related duties
• HVAC certification preferred
• Hospitality and/or Property Maintenance experience highly preferred
• Valid CA Driver’s License and the ability to commute to and from work

Compensation: In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the pay range for this position is $20 - $27 per hour, exclusive of fringe benefits. Base pay is one part of the total package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work.

Location: The position is required to be based onsite at Eleven10 Apartment Homes located at 1110 W. Town and Country Rd., Orange, CA 92868.
