Multi-physician family practice clinic in Yukon is seeking a full time Medical Assistant

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examination, take vitals and record patient health history.
• Prepare charts, assist physician with medical procedures and exams.
• Administer injections and immunizations, triage patient calls for medication refills and provide test results.
• Keep exam rooms clean and equipped with appropriate supplies.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Medical Assistant Certification preferred but not required
• Must be detailed oriented
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of referrals a plus
• Two years experience in a family practice clinic preferred but not required
• Experience with Electronic Health Records a plus
• High School graduate or equivalent required (GED)
