Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Controller to oversee all financial aspects of our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for budget management, financial analysis, payroll, forecasting, accounts payable, and receivable. The Controller will report directly to the CFO and support the executive team.

Duties:

- Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, and Counsel.

-Managing books of 12 clients
- Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.
- Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.
- Research technical accounting issues for compliance.
- Support month-end and year-end close process.
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
- Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.

Experience:

- MUST have experience with RealPage software

-Proven working experience as a Controller or Assistant Controller
- 5 years of overall combined accounting and finance experience.
- Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- CPA or CMA preferred.
- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
- Experience with creating financial statements.
- Excellent accounting software user and administration skills
- Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.

Pay: $120,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
