Phillips Academy seeks an Assistant Coach for boys’ junior varsity basketball program for Winter 2022-23.

Working alongside the junior varsity head coach basketball coach, responsibilities include developing individual skills, teamwork and sportsmanship among student-athletes. Experience playing and/or coaching basketball required and experience working with high school aged students preferred. Full background check required. Commitment is approximately 20-25 hours per week (Monday- Saturday) starting mid-November through the first week in March. Monday – Friday practices occur after school. Meets, home and away, on most Saturdays throughout winter term. No benefits.

The strongest applicants will have the following qualifications:

• Ability to positively motivate, inspire and be role model to high-school aged students.
• Be adaptable and enjoy working alongside the current coaching staff

As the COVID-19 pandemic persists, our top priority is safety.
