The Phillips Academy is Hiring a Day Custodian - Full Time Near Andover, MA
Phillips Academy seeks a full time custodian for the 7:30am to 4:00pm shift in the Office of the Physical Plant. The custodian will report to the Day Custodial Group Leader and will clean and maintain dormitories and other Academy buildings using proper chemicals and equipment. Candidate must have the ability to read Safety Data sheets (SDS) and effectively communicate with management and other members of the community to effectively perform essential functions of the job. Candidate must have a personal vehicle for on campus transportation. Overtime is required. When emergencies and/or extreme weather conditions occur, the functions of this job may be deemed essential and the employee must report to work and/or remain on duty during their regularly scheduled work hours or the work hours designated by their supervisor. Supervisor will inform the employee when the functions are essential.
