The Phillip Charles Group is Hiring a Dispatcher Near Boston, MI
The Phillip Charles Group has been servicing the local metro Detroit area for the past 30 years and has built incredibly strong partnerships with our clients, candidates, and employees. We have worked with our current client for the past 17 years and they are looking for a 3rd Shift Dispatcher for a possible Contract to Hire opportunity based out of their New Boston, Mi. location
3rd SHIFT 12 midnight- 830am Sun-Thur 30 min lunch
Pay: $18-$23/hr
Dispatcher Job Responsibilities:
-Tracking and updating loads on customer websites
- Create orders o Answer incoming phone calls and transfer to appropriate driver manager
- Assist driver managers with ongoing day to day operations
-Proficient in Excel
-McLeod experience a plus
-Strong oral and written communications
-Attention to detail
-Initiative and motivation
- Problem solving skills
- Strong organizational skills
- The person in this position may perform additional functions as required by the Terminal Manager
- Fully participate in and support the Quality System,
- updating customer websites
Education, and Experience Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
· Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
