The Peoples Bank in Gambier is looking for a part-time Marketing Specialist to join our team.

As our part-time marketing specialist you will create cohesive campaigns to promote our services across a variety of media including social, print, and email. Compliance and banking knowledge is a plus.

The candidate should be creative, someone who likes to think of new and interesting ways to grab attention but can also be trusted with confidential information and to make decisions in line with our community bank, customer-first values.

Duties & responsibilities:

• Perform research, analyses, and testing with a variety of tools to gain insights and shape marketing strategy
• Collaborate with team members to optimize automation and lead-nurturing process through email, content, events, and social channels
• Manage social media initiatives with copy, images, video, and other content. Design and send out marketing content (i.e. newsletters, postcards)
• Assist in execution of marketing plans to reach audiences through targeted channels
• Collaborate, present and communicate with executive team regarding critical metrics for content creation, website traffic, and other KPIs
• Assist in the development and execution of campaigns, including content creation, new-product launches, social media, upselling, and cross-selling

The right candidate will have:

• Experience with product launches or integrated marketing campaigns
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Working knowledge of market research, surveys, and data analytics
• Demonstrated content marketing experience
• Experience in planning and leading initiatives
• Professional and friendly personality

Preferred skills and qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or certification or equivalent) in marketing, communications, or related field
• 1 years of experience in internal/external marketing, advertising or banking field
• Experience with social media and marketing tools and/or other creative design tools
• Proficiency with HTML, Adobe Acrobat, Office 365 suite, Canva
• Ability to think strategically, lead projects from beginning to end, and work autonomously
• Advanced troubleshooting and single-tasking skills
• Hands-on experience in developing campaigns and promotions
• Proven success in a fast-paced environment, working both individually and as a team member
