About the Role
The Peninsula Club is actively seeking an Outside Services Manager to join our team. In October of 2023, The Peninsula Club began an extensive renovation project to be completed by October of 2024. Originally a Reese Jones design, The Peninsula Club reached out to one of the most sought-after Golf Course Architects in Beau Welling. Beau has paved an exciting future here at The Club that includes a completely redesigned 18-hole championship style golf course, a state-of-the-art learning facility and a larger Golf Shop.

As the Golf Outside Services Manager, you will oversee all aspects of outside services operations at the golf facility, ensuring exceptional service delivery to members and guests. Your leadership skills, attention to detail, and passion for golf will contribute to creating a welcoming and efficient environment for golfers. You will manage a team of outside services staff and collaborate closely with the golf shop and golf course maintenance teams to provide a seamless golf experience.

Pay: 18.00 – $20.00

Schedule/Shift: Morning, afternoon/evening shifts

Your Contribution to Our Team Includes:

1. Supervise and train outside services staff in delivering outstanding customer service, including bag handling, club cleaning, cart management, and tournament setup.

2. Coordinate daily golf operations, including player registration, tee time management, and pace of play monitoring.

3. Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the bag drop area, practice facilities, golf carts, and cart barn.

4. Oversee the maintenance and appearance of golf carts, including charging, cleaning, and reporting any issues for repair.

5. Manage the rental fleet of clubs and other golf equipment, ensuring proper inventory levels and condition.

6. Assist in coordinating golf tournaments and events, including setup, player assistance, and post-event cleanup.

7. Monitor and enforce golf course policies and procedures, including dress code and pace of play guidelines.

8. Collaborate with the golf shop staff to promote merchandise sales and enhance the overall golf experience for members and guests.

9. Manage communication from various departments within The Peninsula Club.

10. Implement safety protocols and training for outside services staff, including proper lifting techniques and cart operation guidelines.

What You’ll Need to Be GREAT:

• Previous experience in golf operations management or related field. PGA Certification preferred but not mandatory.

• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

• Knowledge of golf etiquette, rules, and terminology.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and golf management software.

• Experience with staff scheduling.

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

• Must be available to work mornings/afternoons, weekends, Holidays, and occasional Monday outings.

Must-Have Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds over your head
- Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions
- Must be able to be on your feet for up to 8 hours at a time
- Clear background screening and employment authorized
- Ability to safely operate golf carts (must have a valid driver’s license)
- Available to work holidays & weekends

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 – 45 per week
