The Associate Teacher Program places novice teachers in the elementary classroom alongside master teachers to participate in all aspects of instruction, planning, and daily school life.
Associate Teachers receive broad support for their personal and professional growth through regular meetings, extensive professional development opportunities, and immersive classroom experiences.
In addition to gaining experience at the elementary level, Associate Teachers will also participate in middle school athletics and activities as a way to broaden both their expertise and skills.
This position provides exceptionally strong benefits, including medical and dental insurance, and a starting salary of $34,000 with opportunities to increase pay near or above $40,000, commensurate with additional responsibilities.
Robust support for professional development is provided to all Associate Teachers and free on-campus housing is available on a limited basis.
The ideal Associate Teacher will display intellectual curiosity, independent initiative, a thirst for collaboration and team-oriented work, and a willingness to take on new challenges.
An undergraduate or master’s degree is required, as well as demonstrated experience working with children. A background in elementary education is preferred.
