The Pearl Dentistry of Sarasota is Hiring a Dental Assistant Near Sarasota, FL

```Duties```
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments
- Take and record patients' vital signs
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures
- Take and develop dental X-rays
- Perform patient assessments and record medical history
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient confidentiality
- Use medical coding to accurately bill insurance companies
- Utilize medical terminology to communicate effectively with the dental team
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems such as Epic or Eaglesoft

```Qualifications```
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Completion of an accredited dental assisting program preferred
- X-ray certification required
- CPR certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
