We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented Leasing Consultant to join our team. As a Leasing Consultant, you will be responsible for assisting prospective tenants with finding their ideal rental property and ensuring a smooth leasing process. Duties:
- Conduct property tours for prospective tenants and showcase the features and amenities of available units
- Assist applicants with the leasing process, including completing applications, verifying references, and conducting background checks
- Provide accurate information about rental rates, lease terms, and move-in specials
- Coordinate lease signings and ensure all required documents are properly executed
- Collect and process rental payments from tenants
- Address tenant inquiries, concerns, and maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain accurate records of all leasing activities and tenant interactions
- Stay up-to-date on market trends, competitor pricing, and rental regulations

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in property leasing or related field preferred
- Knowledge of leasing contracts, fair housing regulations, Section 8, and LIHTC programs
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with prospective tenants
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficient in data entry and computer software applications
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications or education in real estate or property management is a plus
