- Manage the nutritional needs of short term, long term, Palliative Care, and feeding tube residents
- Assess nutrition status, including laboratory data, fluid status, energy and protein needs of residents.
- Plan therapeutic diets in accordance with physicians’ diagnoses and requirements of regulatory agencies
- Function as a member of the interdisciplinary health care team to implement nutrition care plans
- Provide nutrition counseling and education for residents
- Appropriately document all nutritional-related information in patient charts in an accurate and timely manner
- Complete all patient assessments within required time frames
Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s degree required
Experience Required: Minimum one year experience in an acute care setting
Professional Licensure and Certification Required: Registered Dietitian credentialed by the Commission on Dietetic Registration. RD eligible applicants are encouraged to apply.
