Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and friendly Breakfast Attendant to join our team. We are a brand new Hampton Inn & Suites in Bakersfield currently set to open in May 2024. As a Breakfast Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests have a pleasant dining experience by providing excellent customer service and maintaining a clean and organized breakfast area.

Responsibilities:
- Set up the breakfast area before guests arrive, including arranging tables, chairs, and food stations
- Prepare and serve breakfast items such as coffee, tea, pastries, cereal, oatmeal, eggs, and fruit, etc.
- Ensure that all food items are fresh and replenished as needed
- Assist guests with any special dietary needs or requests
- Maintain cleanliness of the breakfast area throughout the shift, including wiping tables, cleaning spills, and restocking supplies
- Follow all health and safety guidelines when handling food and cleaning equipment
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests, answering questions, and addressing any concerns or issues

Experience:
- Knowledge of kitchen and food service operations is a plus
- Ability to use basic kitchen tools such as a knife and coffee maker
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
