About the Position
We are seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to join our ambulatory surgery center. Sterile Processing Technicians are responsible for maintaining instruments and equipment in an optimal fashion as well as maintaining sterilization logs. This includes but is not limited to cleaning, packaging, sterilizing and storing of supplies, instruments and equipment. Also responsible for preparing instrumentation, sterile supplies and OR equipment for the surgical patient and the facility's physicians.

When surgery is required to treat injury or improve bodily function or appearance, The Orthopaedic Surgery Center and care team are trusted! Performing around 400 cases a month, the surgeons and surgical staff are experts in orthopaedic, gynecology, plastic & reconstructive surgery, and podiatric surgery. In 2017, we were recognized as one of Becker's ASC Review ortho-driven ASCs to know.

- A high school diploma
- Previous experience in processing surgical instruments
- Demonstrated ability in sterilization techniques with a thorough knowledge of instrumentation, care and handling
