Immediate opening for a full-time Occupational Therapist interested in hand therapy or Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) to join our team. This position works closely with our fellowship-trained hand surgeon in our busy outpatient clinic setting. OFC is privately owned.

The OT/CHT is responsible for organizing and conducting medially prescribed evaluation and treatment to restore function and prevent disability following disease, injury or loss of a body part. This includes highly specialized knowledge and skills in evaluating, assessing and treating upper extremity/hand dysfunction. The OT/CHT develops a plan of treatment with measurable functional and rehabilitative goals to restore independence and functional capacity. Must perform age/diagnosis appropriate evaluation and reassessment methods specialized for the upper extremity and hand. The OT/CHT posses advance skills and training to fabricate splints, other custom restorative devices and ergonomics.

Education:

Bachelors or Masters Degree as an Occupational Therapist from an institution accredited by the Commission of Accreditation in Occupational Therapy Education.

Certification in hand therapy optional.

License / Certifications:

Current MN State Occupational Therapist License

Schedule:

Our office is open 8 am to 5 pm Monday - Friday.
