JOB DESCRIPTION Job Description
- Receive and process material orders daily, including accepting deliveries, labeling them, and distributing packages and letters internally.
- Coordinate deliveries to customers and clients daily, including boxing goods, addressing packages, and staying in contact with shipping companies.
- Maintain the company stockroom by leaning, organizing, and labeling items in storage on a regular basis.
- Keep records of goods that have been shipped and received, preparing regular shipping, and receiving reports for supervisors.
- Schedule large shipments and coordinate logistics to ensure that there is enough storage space for incoming items and personnel on hand to manage incoming shipments.
- Perform customer service duties as necessary, maintaining good relationships with shipping companies and clients who are receiving goods.
- Ensure that proper procedures are followed when handling organic products.
- Update the drivers notes and shipping list as information is received.
- Will be responsible for food safety activities.
Work Experience
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with the proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to accurately sort, count, and verify items received.
- Basic understanding of railway, dock, and warehouse procedures.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and / or inventory software to maintain records, input data, and create reports.
- Strong understanding of applicable Occupational Safety and Health Administration requirements and other related safety policies and best practices.
