JOB DESCRIPTION Job Description
Parts Counter Sales (Agricultural Equipment)
This is a Contract to Hire opportunity for a Parts Counter Associate with in Taylor, TX. The standard work schedule is from 8am-5pm, Mon-Fri, but flexibility for weekends and extended hours is needed based on workload.
This role is conducted in a service center environment in an agricultural and construction equipment dealership.
What you'll do as a Parts Counter Associate
- Work with customers to understand make, year, and type of part needed
- Inspect damaged or worn item to determine accurate replacement
- Obtain knowledge for parts sold and comfortable discuss models and / or features with customers
- Quickly and accurately pull product from Service Techs
- Provide Service Writer with accurate pricing as needed for the creation of repair quotes
- Maintain parts / product inventory
Work Experience
Relevant Experience
- Prior Service Writer, Parts Counter, or Service Technician experience
- Dealership (Auto or Ag) background is a plus
The preferred candidate should have the following :
- Experience working in a dealership or service center environment
- Previous experience with Case IH or New Holland a plus
- Experience with RIMSS a plus
- Must be knowledgeable with MS Suite
- Data Entry and Typing ability paramount
