Work Experience

What you'll do as Packaging Specialists

• Monitoring product during manufacturing process
• Making corrections to meet order specifications
• Building reels to size specifications
• Removing finished product and transporting it into inventory
• Assisting in line start-ups
• Ensuring wraps on reels are correct and neat
• Cut conduit, ties-off and caps conduit when each reel is complete
• Remove reel from the coiler using a forklift and transports the finished product into inventory
• Grind material scrap as it is produced and stacks scrap
• Assist the extrusion tech in line start-ups
• Complete appropriate line operations paperwork to ensure accurate inventory transactions

Requirements :

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years of experience in similar role
• Minimum 6 months of forklift experience
• Ability to perform simple to complex math
• Experience with manual dexterity and eye / hand coordination tasks
• Comfortable lifting moderate to heavy loads
• Steel Toe Boots required
