Onin Staffing has immediate opening for a qualified Forklift Operator - Warehouse

Teammate in the Baton Rouge area. If you have a strong work ethic, like working in a

physical fast paced environment this is a great career opportunity.

Responsibilities Include :

Loading and unloading trucks using propane powered forklift

Read daily tickets to pull stock from inventory by locating correct bin locations

Promote safe working conditions and follow safety guideline

Efficiently pull inventory from racks safely using forklift

Manually lift and carry various inventory up to 50 pounds

Check and count freight for accuracy and / or damage

Participate in physical inventory, as needed

Maintain tidiness and cleanliness standards in warehouse.

Efficiently complete all activities delegated by the warehouse manager

Work Experience

The successful applicant will possess the following requirements :

2 years prior forklift experience

Proficient computer skills

Ability to meet production standards

Ability to work flexible hours, when needed

Ability to lift 50 pounds

Attention to detail and accuracy

Planning and organizing skills

Communication skills

Problem analysis and problem-solving skills

Dependability and reliability

Perform other duties as assigned, may be out of normal responsibility

Ability to undergo pre-employment drug test and background check
