JOB DESCRIPTION Job Description
- Starting boiler fire
- Checking reverse osmosis unit
- Adding chemicals on a daily basis
- Monitoring oil temperature in turbine bearings
- Measuring oil in underground storage tanks
- Keep area around coal hopper clean and conduct coal inventory.
- Maintain equipment and work area clean.
- Prioritize safety above all else and strictly enforce all company safety rules and regulations.
- Required to walk, stand, sit, crawl, stoop, kneel etc.
- Must be able to push, pull, move or lift up to 50lbs
- Required to reach with hands and arms.
Work Experience
- 1-2 years prior experience in boiler operation and / or rendering facility
- Boiler Operator's license
- Knowledge of water tube boilers, principles of combustion, water composition, and steam generation
- Basic math skills
- Good oral and written skills
- Abiltiy to work nights and / or weekends as needed..
