The One Tapas & Bar is looking for an experienced bartender with knowledge of creating crafted cocktails. Previous experience as a bartender in a full-service restaurant is a must. Compensation includes hourly pay plus tips. Pay rate based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Ability to create crafted new cocktails as well as classic ones consistently and efficiently
• Interact with guests, take orders, upsell and serve food and drinks
• Check guest’s identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
• Assess guests’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
• Check and replenish bar inventory, garnishes and supplies
• Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
• Comply with all food and beverage regulations
• Maintain bar cleanliness and organization

Requirements

• High School Diploma (required)
• Minimum age requirement of 21 years
• Resume and proven working experience as a mixologist
• Excellent knowledge of crafting classic and new signature cocktails
• Computer literacy
• Positive attitude, team player, service-oriented and excellent communication skills
• Understanding of classes of alcohol, different glasses, brand names and garnishments
• Working knowledge of bar equipments
• Numeracy and cash-handling skills
• Able to work flexible schedules
• Able to work in a standing position for long periods
• Be able to reach and bend and frequently lift up to 30 pounds'

Experience:

• Bartending: 3 years (Required )

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

License:

• food handler certificate (Preferred)
