Job Summary:

This position is part-time and responsible for "back of the house" operations/purchasing and maintenance for a small business. The main function is to purchase merchandise and supplies for our 4 locations. This includes purchasing, receiving, and distribution of merchandise and supplies, reconciling damages, and moving stock to locations selling it using the Shopify POS system. This person will maintain an open line of communication with our Retail Liaison in the stores. This job is located in our warehouse in Lorain, OH

Essential Functions:

• Purchasing and creating transfers of products for 4 locations in an accurate and timely manner while adhering to a budget
• Managing purchase orders, checking invoices, and maintaining optimal inventory to the 4 locations using the Shopify POS System
• Checking invoice accuracy and timely forwarding to the financial liaison
• Maintaining product information accuracy in the Shopify POS System
• Communicating frequently with the Retail Liaison and working with the Warehouse and Webstore Staff to ensure accurate and timely delivery of products to the stores.

Knowledge and Skills

• Good communication skills are essential
• Must be able to multitask and be flexible, small business means a lot of diverse tasks
• Must be able to work independently-there are only 4 of us employed at this location
• Must be highly organanized
• Computer literacy is a must, familiarity with Windows products and Google Drive
• Experience with Shopify POS system helpful

Education

• Minimum requirement: High School Diploma
