The Oaks School is hiring an Elementary School Teacher for the 2023-2024 school year.

The Oaks School offers academic excellence in a four day school week with limited homework all within a family environment. We champion the development of children from early childhood into mature, responsible, intelligent and benevolent adults. The Oaks seeks to partner with like minded families to help their children become high impact leaders who have a secure foundation for facing a changing world.

About Us - Elementary School Experience

In our elementary years, children master the basics of reading and math through extended blocks of time devoted to these subjects. Students learn through a combination of interactive centers and small group instruction with their teachers. Children enjoy multiple breaks throughout the day with much time spent outside between classes. Children benefit from the security of teachers that see their strengths and look for ways for them to shine. Children experience multiple field trips with welcomed parental involvement. Children thrive with worry free afternoons after school, having time to explore the outdoors, extracurriculars and gathering around the dinner table with family in the evenings. The gift of time from the four day week provides space for students to develop their own strengths without the fast paced demands of a typical school setting.

The Oaks received full accreditation through Cognia (formerly SACS) and the Alabama Independent School Association.

Pay: $23,000.00 - $25,000.00 per year
