Scheduling Coordinator
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Certified Nursing Assistant with intent on becoming a Certified Medication Aide
- Experience in scheduling, preferably in a healthcare setting
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
Job Description
- Prepare a schedule for nursing staff so as to maintain twenty-four (24) hour staffing as required by law, and has responsibility for daily staffing and replacing staff who have called out, as needed. If unable to find a replacement, must come in to work to fulfill the need.
- Develop and maintain the master schedule for nursing staff
- Handle schedule changes, shift swaps, and last-minute adjustments in a timely and efficient manner.
- Perform other duties as requested by the Administrator or DON.
Work Schedule
- 40 hours per week with occasional overtime depending on staffing needs
- Scheduled hours may vary due to need and circumstances
- Will be responsible to take call for staffing/scheduling issues.
